Los sueños son los mismos

My Nonna was born in Italy, but from the age of 9 she went to live in Córdoba, Argentina with her family to escape the war. There she became secretary of the Italian Hospital in Córdoba, where she met my grandfather Luis Coronado, who at that time was a medical student. Now she enjoys her Italian programs from Honduras.

My Dear Grandson: The stages of my life have passed in times very different from today, but the dreams are the same — being able to fulfill them is a challenge, and one must always keep moving forward despite the stumbles that may come along the way. It is not easy, but therein lies the essence of life: to set goals, and as you accomplish them you will feel the satisfaction of reaching them. And when you are older, you will be able to tell your descendants how you came to achieve what you now are. My advice to the youth is to not fall into the temptations that corrupt a person, and with determination to be a good member of society, to enjoy life with optimism, and to strive to be a little better every day. A part of my life was made possible thanks to my companion, husband and friend Luis. My children came, my grandchildren came — I hope to meet my great-grandchildren, and I am sure I will!!! To you, Brian, thank you for giving me the opportunity to express my thoughts in these lines. I love you very much, your nonna
